I, Dr Priyanka, went ahead to do my post graduation from the most eminent institute of India, All India Insitute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Orthodontia under renowned Orthodontist, Dr Kharbanda of national and international fame and also had the pleasure of working with famous academician, Dr Hari Prakash while my husband, Dr Darmeet Singh chose to serve patients doing General Dentistry having done an advanced course of aesthetic dentistry under Dr Terry Donovan.

Few of my professional achievements are:

• Awarded 1st prize in poster presentation in Indian Association of Cleft Lip And Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies, at Gauwahati in April 2006
• Awarded 1st prize in paper presentation in 3rd World Edgewise Congress and40th Indian Orthodontic Conference at Chandigarh in Nov 2005
• A letter to the Editor published in prestigious Australian Orthodontic Journal, 2005 entitled “ Levels of t- PA and PAI-2 in gingival crevicular fluid during Orthodontic tooth movement in Adults”Besides this, I have had Active Participation in OSGOD ( Orthodontic study group of Delhi) and have made presentation in their meetings

My Work Experience:

• Did house Job at PGI, Chandigarh from Jan 2003- May 2003 in department of oral surgery, pedodontics and orthodontics
• Junior Residency at AIIMS from July 2003- May 2006 wherein I have done cases in standard edge wise, pre adjusted appliance mechanotherapy and multiple cases of cleft, functional appliance (Class II and Class III ) and dentofacial orthopedics.

Dr Darmeet Singh is Vice President, IDA North Delhi Branch for two consecutive terms, Member Executive Committee (Dental Practitioners Forum of India), and served as Member, Executive Committee IDA ( Delhi State Branch). He has actively participated in organizing various CDE programmes (Implants, Smile Designing to mention a few).
